The reservoir is ~90% covered with thin ice. Some open water remains along the shorelines of Jet Ski Beach and Coyote Cove as the day warms and skim ice melts off. These conditions are NOT safe for ice fishing. Shoreline anglers have been reeling in brown trout and rainbow trout, with brown trout catch rates having gone up significantly since the fall stockings. Spinning lures seem to be getting more hits than PowerBait and worms. Fly anglers are throwing dark-colored balanced leeches.
