Dang High Water Again on the Crooked

Crooked River - Prineville, OR

The weekend rains have caused the Crooked River to blow up to 740+ cfs. My guess will be it will go up a little more and remain high for a week or so.
Personally, over 400 cfs is not good for fishing, unless it is really stable for a long period above that. I’d skip it for now and head to Maupin, Fall River and the Metolius.
More to come on those reports Saturday.

Just wanted to let you know so you can save a trip.
