I had to share my granddaughter Riah's or Ri as she likes to be called catch of one of the rainbow trout that was stocked at rotary park. even in the bag its a nice size fish. the Willow beach hatchery has done a super job of getting us supplied with rainbow trout. I am getting news of stripers being picked up along our shores in various spots. They seem to be in the 20-to-30-inch range and anchovies are working along with various swim baits. Up on lake Mohave I am hearing about some shad boils, so anglers need to watch for the ripples or where the birds are diving. We hope to do a fishing clinic again this year so watch for news for when. this is not a derby or tournament but catch your first fish of the season. I am seeing the largemouth bass are on the nests or spawn. so, if you are targeting them try and let them go back to guard the nest of eggs so the carp don't eat them.
