The lake is beginning to thaw, the park staff has caution signs out - avoid going out on the ice! You'll be on the news and not for a good thing. We're looking forward to the coming weeks, usually May is a good target to put a trip on your calendar.

Sacramento River - Lower: The river this morning is flowing around 4,700 CFS
McCloud River: The river is looking good on the low end at the lake, although still a little high
Pit River: Big flows continue throughout the system
Sacramento River - Upper: The river is dropping, but still high
Baum Lake: Fishing has been solid, some good fish are eating up top
Shasta Lake: The Pit Arm would be your best bet to find clear water
Lewiston Lake: The lake is fishing very well for some nice fish cruising the flats

Hat Creek: Recent trips to the Powerhouse 2 riffle have been fruitful for the few anglers who have gone
Sacramento River - Lower: There are some really nice fish being caught in the top portion of the river below the Highway 44 bridge
McCloud River: The storm on Monday bumped the flows a little
Sacramento River - Upper: While it's still high, 3,000 CFS at the lake, the river is on the drop and a super nice color
Baum Lake: Look for more and bigger hatches as we roll into April
Shasta Lake: More good reports from the Float n' Fly crowd on Shasta
Pyramid Lake: The lake continues to fish well
