Bridgeport Fish Report - April 20, 2025

The East is currently running about 88 cfs and has been fishing very well this past week. Most of the action is still coming with nymphs but we’re also still getting a few good reports on the streamer action. There’s lots of fish in the 14 to 18 inch range being caught with some fish taping up to around 24”. Some of the anglers we’ve talked to have reported as many as 20 fish per day being caught. Not sure what the flows will do in the days/weeks to come but as long as they don’t get too high the good fishing should hold out. Some patterns to try: perdigon, hare’s ear, rainbow warrior, soft hackle, darth baetis, egg patterns, worm patterns, dead drift crayfish, sculpzilla, ziwi, dali lama, double bunny.

 

The ranch has been fishing excellent this past week with anglers reporting having great days with 15 to 20 fish per day and some of the fish pushing the 26” mark. Lots of good nymphing as well as streamer fishing and there has been a couple good reports on dry/dropper rigs. There are some openings in the coming weeks so give us a call if you’d like to book some time out there.

 

We didn’t get any reports back from the pond this week but I’m confident it’s still fishing very well. We have some bookings coming up and I’ll pass on any information we get from that.
