Wildhorse is full and spilling. The State Park has put the boat dock in the water and the ramp is open. Water temps are sitting in the low to mid 50s. Trout are moving into the shallows, improving catch rates from shore. Anglers are catching trout averaging 16″ to 22″. Bass fishing will be slow until warmer weather persists.
Note: There is some debris in the water in the canyon towards the dam from a semi that wrecked onto the lake a few months back. We will be working on getting it cleaned up but caution should be used when boating in that area in the meantime.
Special regulations: March 1 – June 30 is catch and release only for black bass.
