Stampede Reservoir is offering solid kokanee fishing with fish stacking shallow in the mornings and dropping deeper as the sun climbs. Early birds are scoring with green hoochies, pink and purple squids, orange Dick Nites, and wedding rings around 30 feet. Trout activity near the inlet is best early and late—try woolly buggers or small streamers for rising fish. Surface temps are in the high 50s°F. Stampede Reservoir capacity is currently at 100%.
