Fishing is good, with several limits being harvested. The South end and main boat ramps are open. But the campgrounds are still closed. Check with the lodge and the forest service for available camping.

Diamond Lake has been stocked with tiger and brown trout. These fish were introduced to help control illegally introduced tui chub. These trout are catch-and-release only and need to be released immediately and unharmed if caught. Follow these catch-and-release tips for reducing fish mortality.
