Flows continue to drop and are now just above 400 CFS on the Delta gage above the lake. Keep your thermometer handy as the water temps are beginning to creep up fluctuating between 60 and 65F daily. The upper river around Dunsmuir should be fishing well, although a little higher than normal. The Yellow Sallies and Golden Stones are beginning to come off as are Caddis. The #12-14 Poxyback GS Biot Yellow Stones, Jigged Bird's Nest, Red Copper Johns, and the large #14 RK's Sin City are all good flies right now. Keep your Elk Hair Caddis, some big and small Adams and Simulators available for the evenings.
