Fishing for Spring Chinook is now open on Lookingglass Creek. Fish have been primarily caught on yarnies and soft beads. Spinners can also be effective. The fishery will remain open until June 29th.
Anglers can also fish for rainbow trout and whitefish. Rainbow trout can be caught on flies or lures while whitefish can be caught most effectively with submerged flies like bead head nymphs. Bull trout may be encountered, and any bull trout caught must be released.
