Flows are still pretty good on the Grande Ronde River. Before the river drops to summer levels, fishing should still be good at times for trout or whitefish. As the river drops and warms though, smallmouth bass can be caught in the lower portions of the Grande Ronde near the town of Troy.
Especially earlier in the summer, anglers might encounter bull trout or Chinook salmon in the Grande Ronde River. Neither species may be harvested, and any caught while angling for other species must be released.
