The day stretch is in full summer rhythm right now with steady Caddis and PMD activity carrying things from late morning through evening. Mornings and evenings are prime for dry flies—X-Caddis, Elk Hairs, Purple Haze, and Rusty Spinners are all in the mix. Midday, it’s about getting down with Euro or indicator rigs using Perdigons, Sparkle Pupae, Fire Starters, Soft Hackle PTs, and 2 Bit Hookers. Dry-dropper setups are a solid all-day play, especially tight to shade lines and banks. Flows are stable, water’s clear, and the fish are definitely looking up in the right light. Classic Lower D summer fishing—technical, consistent, and well worth the effort if you time it right.
