The lake is accessible. The lake has been stocked heavily with rainbow trout. Fishing should also be slow for Brook Trout and Lake Trout as they are holding in deep water. The northwest side of the lake is best for Brook Trout. The flooded timber area is good for Brook Trout. Keep on the look out for flying carpenter ant hatches and the traveling sedge hatch. This sedge runs across the lake after hatching to get to shore. The lake is currently 38 percent full.

There is not an improved boat ramp or dock on site. You will need to back your boat down the beach. As lake levels drop larger boats are very difficult to launch.

Check Fourmile Lake Levels.

Please report any kokanee caught from the lake. You can also call Lake of the Woods Resort for updates.
