There are some very nice trout in Malheur Reservoir right now but they are spread out and fishing has been slow but some nice fish are still being caught. Recent sampling showed there are plenty of trout in the 17 to 20-inch range weighing around two pounds with good numbers of smaller trout as well.

The reservoir is quite full and the boat ramp is usable.
