Fishing Conditions
Fishing is good above and below Lemon. Above, fish it much like a classic high-country creek: an attractor dry fly with a small dropper in deeper water, should you need it.
Below Lemon it is mostly private, but look for hatches of caddis, mayflies, and hoppers to be out soon. Dry/dropper rigs and even small streamers are a good place to start.
Patterns/Bug
Nymphs: Prince nymphs 12-18, Runt Stone Golden 12-16, Pat’s Rubberlegs 8-12, 20 Incher 10-14, Flashback Pheasant Tail 14-20, Blowtorch Jig 14-16, Tungsten OCD Caddis #14-16, Thrift Shop Caddis #14-16.
Dries: Parachute Adams 16-20, Vis A Dun Baetis, Baetis Parachute 18-22. Elk Hair Caddis 14-18, Peacock Caddis 16-18.
Streamers: Sculpinator, Buggers, Skully Bugger, Kreelex, Flash Fry
