No recent reports from Baum, but it can still be a good option for those who are looking for some topwater action. Tricos are coming off in force as are some Callibaetis, Damselflies, and Caddis at dark. Beetles and ants can still be effective. Good flies will depend upon what fish you are targeting, the stockers will chase Crystal Buggers and swung Zug Bugs. A full complement of assorted Adams and Dark Missing Links in #14 - 18 will keep you in good stead with whatever is hatching. Watch for the Water Boatman bite soon. Our guides have this place wired if you are looking for some tactical advice on fishing a great spring creek fishery with an expert!
