The Siuslaw is back open for Fall Chinook! We have had a few reports of fish being caught in the Siuslaw bay although it is still early in the season. A few early fish have been caught, as the first group is pushing into the basin.

There are a decent number of Lakes in the Florence/Siuslaw area that offer excellent warm water fisheries this time of year, including bass fisheries and stocked lakes! Since the Fall fisheries are still early, this is a good time to hit the lakes!

Cutthroat will be distributed throughout the Siletz basin. Anglers are reminded to check the regulations for the use of bait and whether there are closed streams.
