Fishing Conditions
The Animas has had some much-needed inflow of rain. Temps have dropped, and fishing should be good throughout the day. We may be seeing some heavy rain this weekend which could cause the Animas to blow out.
We have been seeing hatches of midges, small mayflies, and even caddis lately. Nymph rigs have been catching most fish, but dry droppers and streamers are also effective choices.
