Water temperatures are dropping into the low 50s. Water clarity has improved, and weeds continue to die off at the southern portion of the reservoir. With the cooler water temps, trout fishing has picked up. Trout are hitting combinations of PowerBait and worms fished off the bottom, as well as flashy spinners throw from shore. Boaters are reporting success along the western flats and northwest shoreline. Fly anglers are having success with nymph, leech and streamer patterns.
Bass action has slowed. Try throwing finesse Ned rigs near cover.
