Pyramid Lake sat at 85 percent of its storage capacity, and the water remained muddy and debris filled. Fishing was slow as many anglers waited for improved conditions. Bass were caught on six-inch plastic worms in green pumpkin, black with a chartreuse tail, and dark purple. A brass and glass setup was effective for a few local regulars. Striped bass were reported on cut sardines near the dam and marina. Rainbow trout were caught by anglers fishing Powerbait in the marina.
