Crane Prairie remains consistent, with chironomids, balanced leeches, mini leeches, and damsel nymphs all producing. Fish are spending more time around channels, flooded timber, weed edges, and transition zones as water temperatures gradually increase.
Damsels have become more noticeable over the past week. While callibaetis activity is beginning to gain momentum across the region, the hatch has not fully developed yet but increasing numbers of adults and nymphs continue to show up.
Recommended Dries:
Double Chubbies #12-14, Para Cricket #12-16, Callibaetis Cripples #14-16
Recommended Nymphs:
Balanced Leeches, KJ Diawls, Red Asses, Zebra Midges, Fire Starters, Chironomids, Balanced Damsels, Mini Leeches
