Water Conditions:
Twin lakes is now iced out, and ready to fish, but the water is very cold. Road to upper lakes may open soon.
Recommended Flies:
Doc's BH in Black, or Olive. Olive Matukas

for Friday, June 3rd, 2011Hot Creek: The flows on Hot Creek are down to about 65 cfs and the fishing starts around 9:00 AM
Crowley Lake: The fish are deep at Lake Crowley
Owens River: No runoff yet has kept the flows on the Upper Owens slower than usual. Fishing is fair to good
Owens River: Fly fishing is excellent at the Owens River Gorge
Owens River: The fishing is still tough on the Lower Owens because of the flows

Hot Creek: Fishing on Hot Creek has been excellent
San Joaquin River: San Joaquin not open yet
Crowley Lake: Fish are in the deep water at Crowley
Owens River: On the Upper Owens you have to get the fly down to where the fish are
Owens River: The Owens River Gorge has been the best for Fly Fishing recently
Owens River: The Lower Owens is slow right now
Bridgeport Reservoir: Bridgeport is OK for Fly Fishing, but if the weather warms the fishing could be even better
East Walker River (CA): Fishing on the East Walker is on the improve
