FOR STEELHEAD:
Not immune from the "Slump of ???07", returns have been a drop-off compared to last year.?? However, while catching has been, overall, slow, that isn't to say that fish haven't been brought to hand with some fair routine.?? The Sky above Sultan has been fair, as has been the Snoqualmie between Fall City and the Falls.?? One lucky angler showed up on the right morning, and found himself in the right place, as evidenced by three hatchery fish to hand.?? You just never know with those elusive steelhead?Ķ.

FOR TROUT:
The Upper Forks and some of their major tribs are all yielding scrappy little wild trout.?? Don't hesitate to continuously explore "further upstream, around the bend", as not only solitude, but a few more fish are surely in store.?? With water levels dropping to summer lows, think "oxygenated"?Ķ

TROUT PATTERNS (upper forks):
Goddard's Caddis #12-#14; Better Foam Caddis, all colors #14; Royal Wulff #12-#14; Humpy/Royal Humpy, all #12-#14; Hi and Dri Parachutes, all #12-#14; Stimulators, all #12-#14; Foam Beetle #10-#12; Power Ants #12-#14
