Water temperatures have dropped to about 57??F, which is perfect for trout fishing. Many of the trout stocked on Sept. 24 are still very active and jumping at the surface. Last week, an angler reported catching a 26-inch catfish on the west side near the bushes, adjacent to the bridge. Trout are jumping and surfacing, so you may want to use shallow gear (lightweight spinners, lures, flies or worms under a bobber close to the surface).
