The East is still running at 20 cfs and will likely be at that level for the remainder of the winter . The fishing lately has been pretty tough with just a few fish being caught here and there. If you are going to fish the river I'd suggest not even hitting the water until 9 or 10 in the morning and you probably don't need to fish past around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I'd still recommend fishing either the Nevada side or the section in California below the bridge on Hwy 182. Again, it's been pretty tough down there so I wouldn't expect to get into more than 3 or 4 fish per day, the flip side of that coin is that a decent percentage of the fish are very nice, in the 18 to 22 inch range. I'd be fishing small midge patterns mainly like rainbow warriors, flashback emergers, wd-40's, tailwater tiny's, copper johns.  www.kenssport.com (760) 932-7707
