The lake experienced a steady drawdown all summer, with water levels currently sitting at 38% of Naci’s storage capacity. Anglers reported good fishing for all species, with spotted bass readily available on drop shots, Ned rigs, and small jigs in grey, brown, and dark green. Topwater lures, crankbaits, and underspins produced early in the day, while white bass continued to hit topwater baits but showed more consistency on spoons and spinners. Crappie were caught over rocky structure in 10 to 20 feet of water, with mini-jigs and small swimbaits in various colors fooling fish. Catfish anglers also found success using bait rigs with cut bait and dip bait.
