Here at River Walk the trout season is over. The holdover fish periodically take an offering, but the trout fishing is very slow. However, the bass bite continues to be very good at the Main and Amphitheater lakes. Anglers have been scoring bass during the early morning and late afternoons. Bass have been coming on reaction baits, buzzbaits, whopper Ploppers and drop shot with soft plastics. The Bluegill bite has been very good this week. Anglers have scored bluegill with redworms and meal worms. Crappie have been coming on live red worms and small jigs with nibbles.
