This week Isabella Lake held at 26 percent of capacity. One of our contacts reported there’s a solid bass bite with Rapala DT 10 & 14, crankbaits in shad and brown crawdad. They are also getting bass with brown or black 3/8oz football jigs off Rocky Point and Piney Point. The best action has been in 15 to 25-feet of water. Anglers are still scoring crappie, but it seems to have slowed down a bit. They are having to work a little more to get bit. Crappie are still being caught around Reds and French Gulch marinas with mini jigs and small shiners. The catfish bite has slowed with the cooler weather. Whiskerfish can be taken with SSS Dip Bait, shad and cut mackerel. Trout are a little tougher, anglers have found some in the north Fork with artificials.
