The lake remained at 55 percent of its storage capacity and bass anglers reported good weather and decent fishing. Finesse anglers did well with drop shot, jigs, and Pro Senkos. Natural Shad, Ox Blood, and Tequilla Sunrise fooled fish in the 10-to-30-foot zone with some fish taking baits even deeper. Reaction bait bass were still available, but topwater, crankbaits, and underspins produced at a slower pace for most anglers. White bass took spoons and in-line spinners both trolled and cast. Catfish anglers used chicken liver and cut mackerel, and crappie ate minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles.
