The roads to Knoll Lake are open. Rainbow trout were stocked last week. Only boats with a single electric motor are allowed on Knoll Lake. No gas-powered motors. The limit is 4 trout. Trout were caught over the weekend on worms and PowerBait. For fly anglers, the cicadas are starting to appear within the watershed. A dry and dropper combo may be worth trying with a prince nymph, pheasant tail, or black simi-seal leech as your bottom fly.

At Alamo Lake (report courtesy of Alamo Lake State Park Manager Drew Collett, 6/8/23), the bass fishing is currently good and most fish are being caught on spinner baits and lipless cranks, or drop shotting a Baby Brush Hog or worms in pumpkin or motor oil with red, silver, or blue specks.
