Kaweah rose to 9 percent of its storage capacity, and bass anglers reported a decent finesse bite. Drop shot, Carolina rigs, and split shot rigs worked to fool fish in 10 to 30 feet of water. At times the bass were up shallow and small crankbaits or weightless Senkos worked for bites. Crappie reports were few and far between, but a couple of anglers reported good fishing after using their electronics to locate schools in 20 feet of water. Small live minnows did the trick. Catfish anglers used mackerel, sardines, and chicken liver near the marina to land some whisker fish
