Anglers reported fair fishing in the southern sections of the aqueduct. Catfish were the best bet with anglers catching good numbers of better grade whisker fish on the bait rig and Carolina rig. Catfish anglers soaked dip bait, chicken liver, and cut baits after check gates where fast moving water met calm. Other good catfish locations included eddies and outtake grates. Striped bass anglers reported cut baits and jumbo live minnows as the best way to hook up. Lure anglers reported a slow bite on Flukes and tube baits. Bass anglers used finesse techniques with 4” Roboworms in Aaron’s Magic and Smokin’ Shad.
