Kaweah Lake rose to 21 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been fair. Rainbow trout were reported by anglers using Garlic scented Powerbait, Mousetails, and Pinched Crawlers. Bass anglers worked in 10 to 30 feet of water with finesse baits for 1-to-2-pound bass. Spotted bass also took vertical spoons in deeper water. Catfish anglers ate Carolina rigged cut sardines, anchovies, and dip bait near the marina. The last trout plant went into the lake the week of January 19th.

Lake Isabella: The best action has been off primary lake points in 30 to 40-feet of water
Kern River: Here at the Upper Kern, the trout bite continues to be consistent
Lake Kaweah: Trout anglers reported some decent stringers of fish
Lake Success: Bass fishing has been decent
River Walk Lakes: The bite has been excellent
Ming Lake: The trout bite has been very consistent
Buena Vista Lakes: Trout anglers reported a 1000 pound stocking, and fishing has been good
Hart Park Lake: Fishing in Hart Park was fair last week
Lake Nacimiento: Nacimiento Lake held at 52 percent of its storage capacity and fishing has been fair to good
