Summer is a busy time, especially on the weekends. Catchable-sized rainbow trout are stocked regularly and provide fair to good fishing. If you want to get away from the crowds, consider fishing the Santa Clara River above the reservoir for wild trout. Remember it is unlawful to fish from a boat or float tube.
