The Ash Canyon road to Hobart is open. Fishing should be really good for spin and fly anglers. Fly fisherman should expect good dry fly fishing with ants and callibaetis mayflies early in the day until the wind picks up. When the surface activity slows, a red copper john slowly retrieved or under an indicator is pretty hard to beat. Spin fisherman using small spinners from the dam should find some good aggressive tiger trout until water temps really warm up.
