The Virginias are still one of the hot spots around lately with lots of good reports coming from up there. The best angling has been from tubes or kayaks with lots of good reports coming in from those folks and early and late in the day the shore angling is pretty good though it’s a little tough from the shore during the heat of the day. Bait anglers are using pinched crawlers, mice tails, inflated crawlers and power bait, lure anglers are going with Kastmasters and Thomas Bouyants. Fly anglers are doing great with damsel nymphs, mini leeches, soft hackles and zug bugs.
