Damsels and Dragonflies proliferate on this alpine lake right now. Balanced Leeches under an indicator are working well along with midges fished deeper with an intermediate line. Water Boatmen are a thing, if you see fish freaking out for no apparent reason, they are chasing a Boatman. Look for Callibaetis and Mahagany Dun spinner falls in the morning and the hatches later in the day. Some good Callibaetis emerger flies are ZT's Zallibaetis or a Pheasant Tail in #14 - 16, and for stillborn insects you can fish Morrish May Day, CDC Biot Spnner or Qugley's Fim Critic in #16. July is a good month on Manzanita!
