No retention of wild coho is allowed. The wild coho fishery closed October 27.
Fall Chinook fishing should pick up in the Nehalem River and North Fork Nehalem this week following last week's rain. Fish should be migrating through the river this week. As a result, fishing in Nehalem Bay will probably slow, but there should still be fresh fish coming in through November. The wild Chinook bag limit is one adult per day/two for the season (July 1 to November 30) as part of the overall daily bag limit.
There are hatchery coho coming into the North Fork Nehalem River (and through Nehalem Bay to get there). Those fish should be showing up this week and will provide angling opportunity well into December.
Cutthroat trout season closes November 1.
