Well, it's all over but the cryin'! The CA side of the EW is now closed for the season. The Sceirine section and the rest of the Nevada side are open all year long. The Sceirine and Rosachi sections have both been fishing well lately with quote a few good reports coming in from both. Streamers and nymphs have both been doing well down there, the flows are low but if you search out the deeper runs and pools there are lots of fish there. Some patterns to try: dead drift crayfish, Dali Lama, sculpzilla, ziwi, perdigon, copper John, hare's ear, rubber legs, micro stone, zebra midge.

 

The ranch has still been fishing well and is open throughout the Winter. There are available dates on the calendar so give us a call if you want to book some time.

 

We haven't had anyone on the pond lately but typically this is a very good time of the year to be out there, the weeds are all but gone so there should be lots of clear water ands the fish should be hungry getting ready for winter. Small leech patterns and soft hackles are usually a great way to go this time of the year.

 

Bridgeport Reservoir is now closed for the season, opening day will be April 25, 2026

The Twins are now closed for the season, opening day will be April 25, 2026.

 

The West is open for catch and release barbless fishing for the Winter months, we haven't had any news from up there lately but if/when we do we'll pass it on!

 

The Virginias are now closed for the season, opening day will be April 25, 2026.
