The river is still producing good numbers of wild steelhead from Lewiston down through Del Loma. Last week's storm made things somewhat murky for a day or two below Junction City, but it cleared quickly and is fishing well. Look for more fish to come up above Douglas City. Most of the salmon have finished spawning. Fishing remains superb on nymphs and this is a good time to swing as well. These are super grabby summer run fish, you can get them on Rubberlegs, Duracells, Olive Hotspots and Copper Johns. And eggs. This fall is a banger year on the Trinity with as many fish we have in the system now. Give us a call if you would like to get on the books with your favorite guide!

Steelhead Fishing Can be Frustrating
These anadromous rainbow trout are known as the 'Fish of a Thousand Casts.' For good reason! The learning curve can be quite steep learning when and where to go, and what type of water to target. Our Professional Guide Staff has decades of experience guiding the Trinity River for steelhead. A day spent with one of our guides will get you up to speed much more quickly.
