No retention of wild coho is allowed. The wild coho fishery closed October 27.
Fall Chinook fishing is winding down in the bay and in the mainstem Nehalem as many fish have moved above the fishery. There will still be some fresh fish coming in this month but numbers will be lower. The North Fork Nehalem h has a few Chinook available. .The wild Chinook bag limit is one adult per day/two for the season (July 1 to November 30) as part of the overall daily bag limit.
The North Fork Nehalem River got a really good push of hatchery coho recently. . There is more rain on the way, so check conditions before heading out, but there should be hatchery coho available for catching through mid-December.
Cutthroat trout season closed November 1.
