Water temperatures this week are sitting at 61F.  Spring stocking has been completed and Cave Lake has received 21,169 rainbow trout averaging 8.9 inches. Anglers should expect to catch 8-to-11-inch rainbow trout and the occasional 9-inch brown trout. There are still a few large brown trout measuring over 20 inches in the lake that have carried over since the draw down of the lake for dam repairs. Anglers will catch trout on PowerBait, spinners, and nightcrawlers.
