Water Conditions:
Flows at 306 as of 5/26. Some discoloration but still good fishing.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Good, fishing has been steadily improving. With warmer weather in store, it should make for an excellent weekend of fishing. Streamers on the swing is still producing.
RECOMMENDED FLIES:
DRIES:
Brooks Sprout Baetis, #16 Rubber Leg Stimulator, #18 Hairwing PMD
NYMPHS:
#18 Dark Olive WD40's, #18 BH Tungsten Micro Mayfly olive, Tungsten Psycho #18, #18 Buckskin Caddis, #18 Bottom Roller, #18 Chartruse Serendipidy, #18 Olive Birds Nest, #18 Nitro Caddis
STREAMERS:
Black Wooly Buggers, Black Leeches and crayfish paterns in a dead drift. Skate a Mouse Patern at dusk for some carnage!

Lake Mary: Lake Mary & Lake George Information
Hot Creek: Fishing on Hot Creek has been excellent
San Joaquin River: San Joaquin not open yet
Crowley Lake: Fish are in the deep water at Crowley
Owens River: On the Upper Owens you have to get the fly down to where the fish are
Owens River: The Owens River Gorge has been the best for Fly Fishing recently
Owens River: The Lower Owens is slow right now
Bridgeport Reservoir: Bridgeport is OK for Fly Fishing, but if the weather warms the fishing could be even better

Hot Creek: Midge hatch in the morning and the caddis hatch is beginning to show at Hot Creek
Crowley Lake: Review of Opening Day on Crowley Lake
Owens River: The fish are getting more active on the Upper Owens but they are still cautious
Owens River: The Owens River Gorge has some of the best flows in the Sierra's
Owens River: The Flows are still too high on the Lower Owens
Bridgeport Reservoir: Streamers are best near the Bridgeport dam.
East Walker River (CA): The flows are more hospitable on the East Walker
