STARVATION RESERVOIR: (October 18) Recent reports indicate that rainbow and walleye fishing has been good, and bass fishing has been fair. Rainbows have broken out of their summer pattern and are now actively feeding at all depths, including the shallows. Crankbaits, lures and trout baits are all working. For walleye, try bottom bouncing a worm in the flats (at 15-25 feet down) or casting a crankbait into the rocky points. Watch the winds -- they come up suddenly and create unsafe boating conditions
