Fishing remains strong for those targeting deep water. Surface temps are in the mid-60s°F, with Mackinaw found around 360 feet and taking jigs or trolled gear. Kokanee are biting well in South Lake around 120 feet on bright spoons and hoochies. Rainbows and browns are cruising near creek mouths, with trout fishing best at first light or late evening while trolling 30–40 feet along the west shore. In North Lake, Mackinaw are holding deep near the Cal Neva Hole at 300 feet. As with other lakes, early morning is prime time.
