Nacimiento remained near 42% of its storage capacity, and water temperatures held around 80 degrees. Anglers reported reliable fishing with good topwater windows in the mornings and evenings, though some found excellent topwater action while others reported none. Underspins, Texas-rigged Senkos, and other finesse baits produced bites in 10 to 25 feet of water, with rocky structure and points holding bass that responded to brown, dark green, and baitfish imitations. White bass were consistently taken by anglers trolling small swimbaits and spoons, crappie bit minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles, and catfish were successfully targeted with cut mackerel and dip bait.
