Fishing should be picking up

Fourmile Lake - (Klamath County)

The lake will be stocked this week with 12-14 inch rainbow trout. Fishing should also be picking up for Brook Trout and Lake Trout as they start to look for places to spawn. The northwest side of the lake is best for Brook Trout. The flooded timber area is good for Brook Trout. The lake is currently 9 percent full.

There is not an improved boat ramp or dock on site. You will need to back your boat down the beach. As lake levels drop larger boats are very difficult to launch. Large boats are probably difficult to launch currently.

Check Fourmile Lake Levels.

Please report any kokanee caught from the lake. You can also call Lake of the Woods Resort for updates.
