At Lake Mohave, in another article in the Mohave Valley Daily News, Rusty Braun reported that local angler Mark O. was fishing from his boat and trolling in the Telephone Cove area and landed a couple of nice stripers. He was using a tommy trout lure to land an almost matched pair of 8-pound stripers (one was a touch over and the other a touch under 8 pounds). There have been a few anglers having success landing stripers up on the lake by trolling, while some use anchovies and will chum first, which helps in bringing them in to the cove that they are in
