Fishing has been decent at Buena Vista with trout from the last plant still taking baits. Garlic Powerbait, Mousetails, spoons and spinners all fooled rainbows. Bass anglers used drop shot, weightless Senkos, and Texas rigged straight tailed worms to land largemouth. A slower presentation worked to fool the lethargic winter bass. Catfish ate garlic scented nightcrawlers, cut sardines, and dip bait on the Carolina rig.
