Catchable-sized rainbow trout are stocked in the Box Creek reservoirs and north end lakes in the spring and can provide fair to good fishing throughout the summer. Manning Meadow Reservoir is closed to fishing until the second Saturday in July in order to protect spawning cutthroat trout. Once open to fishing, you can find good success with a variety of lures and flies. Don't ignore the streams - most have wild trout that don't see much fishing pressure.
